As many of you already know, I was diagnosed with stage two Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in May 2017. I know what it’s like to go through chemotherapy and I know how unpleasant it is.
During my twelve infusions, I would bring a pre-packed bag with me that included items to help make the sessions a little less uncomfortable. As I would go to my chemo appointments, I saw so many people there with nothing to do and I also realized that a good amount of people going through chemo didn’t have someone with them. Nobody should have to go through this alone.
When I finally found out I BEAT CANCER and no longer needed my chemo bag, I decided to pass it on to someone else who could use it. So many people helped me out through my fight against cancer and I wanted to do something to pay it forward. On my first day of becoming a cancer survivor, I put together four pre-packed bags full of goodies to send to people across the country going through chemo.
Each recipient gets a Warrior Bag free of charge. I simply ask everyone who receives one to do a random act of kindness for someone else once they are done with treatment. My goal is to put as many smiles on people’s faces as possible.
With that said, I decided to ask for help to send out more of these bags. Anything helps!
If you want a bag donated to someone you know who is battling cancer, please email me and I will do what I can to get a bag sent to them.
I created an email address so you can email me with any questions or requests:
Thank you in advance for any donations. I’m hoping we can help bring smiles to a lot of faces with these bags!!
